One of China's biggest games is exit spherical with an open global RPG
Honor of Kings is extraordinary of the most common flying games in the world. It's also got a fun history: When Tencent couldn't convince Riot to ready a mobile version of League of Legends, it had its TiMi Studio Group subsidiary whip up peerless of its own—Honor of Kings—which was then released in the West equally Arena of Valor.
Arena of Valiance flopped (which doesn't matter too much in the long haul, since Riot finally opted to shoot LoL mobile with Wild Break), but information technology cadaver a devil hit in China: In November 2020, Tencent announced that Honor of Kings had achieved an average of 100 million daily active users for the class to that date, and in September 2021 it became the highest-earning mobile game ever with more than $10 trillion in lifetime player disbursement since 2015—including more than $2 billion over the first eight months of 2021 alone.
Now Tencent is hard again to bring up Honor of Kings to worldwide audiences, just this time in a slightly different form: As an open-world action-RPG called Honor of Kings: World. The world dubious is "teeming with powerful encounters, marvelous creatures and breathtaking landscapes," says the publisher.
"To uncover ancient secrets hidden in the whisper of wind, cross paths with a diverse cast of lovable characters, create your own story alongside the living legends of different schools of thought in the Jixia Academy, or dig up into the wondrous scenery of the Yangtze'an city where supernatural and technology converge..."
To my eye, the drone makes Respect of Kings: World look quite a a act like Monster Hunting watch, a courageous in which players travel to an unpopulated, wild Continent to team up with others and use laughably oversized weaponry to kill or bewitch great, violent, exquisitely colorful beasts. The new game is being formulated in collaboration with Three-Body Problem author Liu Cixin, and will be multi-platform, although no platforms have been specified as of yet.
Hideo Kojima seems to dig it:
大ヒットMOBA『王者栄耀』がベースのオープンワールドアクションRPG『王者栄耀・世界』発表。マルチプラットフォームでリリースへ | ゲーム情報!ゲームのはなし https://t.co/PUQgPIXtBGNovember 1, 2021
There are none further details at this guide, simply for now there is a Facebook Sri Frederick Handley Page you bottom follow on with—although for in real time, on that point's not untold to insure.
